Which value does your idea have? (Week 4 in the Startup Academy)

Aktualisiert: 12. Feb. 2023

In Week 4 of the Startup Academy, our Future Founders zoomed in on Value Proposition: What defines your business and distinguishes you from the competitors?

Here are some reflections from the participants:

🧠 ”Like every week so far, the past week was again very insightful for our team. The input on value propositions led us to our (probably) most important insight so far: To date, our entire business idea is largely based on our own (biased!) assumptions, which are also very strongly influenced by personal concern - especially with regard to the group of our potential customers.”” 🙏”We were very pleased to gain more knowledge in such an essential aspect as value proposition and apply it to our startup idea to complete the final business plan. Lucia Collará was supportive and raised open questions for us, and other participants to (re)think and reflect on our perspectives and experiences.”

💡”From this session, I learnt many things and factors about Value proposition in startups, and it is clear that the “Why” is not only important for the Founder but also the startups should help customers with “Why” & “How” so that their products/service can be of utmost use."

👁 ”A powerful value proposition helps our customers truly understand the value of your company's products and services. It also helps your ideal customers to see how your services benefit them and are their best available option.” These quotes are from participants in the Startup Academy's Spring Batch 2022.

Thanks to our sponsor Wirtschaftsjunioren Berlin for offering several student scholarships to our participants.
